Case Study: Telemarketing Team Converted 3,505 into Qualified Leads

Challenge

A magazine publisher with audited circulation, in the growing field of Hospital Medicine, produces a monthly publication covering practice management, quality improvement initiatives and clinical updates. The publication is delivered to thousands of healthcare professionals in both printed and interactive digital formats. The publisher needed to requalify their subscriber base in preparation for their upcoming circulation audit. The primary task was to verify and update subscriber information compliant to the auditing firms requirements.

Solutions

As a first time customer of Open Look the initial project began with a 50-hour test in order to develop the proper workflow, setting realistic expectations, ensuring a long lasting successful partnership. Upon successful completion of the 50-hour test, Open Look was provided a target to validate 885 subscribers with a specific deadline required. This initial project resulted in achieving the 885 validated target and was completed ahead of schedule.

Impact

Upon successful completion of the first project, the publisher reached back out to Open Look for a second project validating a new set of their subscriber base. This project consisted of a target of 2,000 validated subscribers again with a specific deadline attached. Mid-way through the project the Open Look team identified increased potential with the initial subscriber list and would be able to exceed the original validation target of 2,000 subscribers. After communicating this finding to the publisher, the publisher requested for an additional 1,500 validated subscribers on top of the original target of 2,000. The project completed once again ahead of schedule with the Open Look team validating a  total of 3,505 total subscribers.

The publisher now views Open Look as a trusted reliable source for their audited circulation needs and will continue to work with the Open Look team for each audit cycle.
