Brad Hastedt began his publishing career in 2007 with a US-Based Niche Media company, overseeing marketing, specialized distribution, product sales, and customer service. In 2009, Brad began supplementing his US-based staff with offshore workforce, cost effectively increasing his overall coverage and in return, further driving overall sales volume and increasing customer response time for over 30 niche brands. Prior to publishing, Brad worked with a Big-3 auto manufacturer focused on progressive sales, finance, and brand-related roles. Currently Brad is responsible to oversee day-to-day finance, IT and HR functions within Open Look.
Mike Obert began his publishing career in 1992 and has specialized in monetizing magazines through ad sales, distribution and other creative revenue streams. In 2009, Mike began developing offshore publishing solutions for a US-Based Niche Media company out of the Philippines. In 3 short years, Mike noticed a void in the industry and lack of reliable outsourced options for all publishers, which ignited the vision to create Open Look. In 2012, Mike and partners formed Open Look turning void into opportunity. Currently Mike drives the direction and innovation of Open Look ensuring the services remain valuable and relevant for the ever-evolving niche media industry.
Kevin Thompson is an accomplished outsourcing professional with an outstanding record of success in the niche-publishing sector. In 2007 Kevin began his publishing career working as an Advertising Sales Executive for special interest automotive publications. In 2010, he migrated from California to reside full-time in the Philippines tasked to develop and manage his first offshore advertising team for a US-based Niche Media company. In 2 years, the team of six reps generated and managed over $1.3 million in advertising revenue. Over the years, Kevin has built and managed teams of hundreds of employees in outsourced and offshore environments spanning nearly every function of the publishing spectrum. Currently Kevin is responsible to oversee the day-to-day service delivery and overall corporate success for Open Look and customers.
Angela is the HR Manager of Open Look. She worked in various HR roles for 16 years, and been with Open Look for 4 years, overseeing all functions within the HR Department from Sourcing to Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations. All Open Look employees are 100% full-time employees sourced specifically based on business/client needs and processed through her department. She currently holds certifications from the International Federation of Professional Manager, Philippines and the Australian Human Resource Institute in Australia.
12 years in the industry, worked with top bpo, previously from a fortune 500 bpo organization. Extensive experience in supporting IT requirements for different verticals and lines of businesses. 20 years in the IT field with expertise and exposure to different aspect of IT. Built and manage bpo spaces of over 10,000 seat capacity.
Worked for Author Solution, a Penguin Random House Company for 7 years. Work in the field of finance for 3 years and been to different position such as Graphic Design Supervisor, Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst, Reports Analyst and Resource Planning Supervisor.
Arkin has been with Open Look for over 2 years now managing all Telemarketing, Copy Editing and Non Graphic Design Projects. He has a decent experience with Inbound and Outbound Sales, Customer Service, Email Support, Chat Support, Back Office and Copy Editing. He worked for Vonage (A VOIP Company in the US), ATCO Gas (For Edmonton, ALBERTA ,CA) and GLobal Shop Direct (Australian DRTV).
She has been with the company for 4 years now. She was previously a Telemarketer and later became a Team Leader for the Copy Editing team, handling 5-10 copy editors. Queenie is currently the Project Coordination and Data Management Manager, working closely with the Data Entry team and Graphics and Design team. She also leads a team of 3 Project Coordinators, 5 Data Research Specialists, a Web Content Specialist and an Internet Marketing Strategist.
Noel is the Design Manager of the Graphics Department. He has been in the Design field for 12 years and working with Open Look for 3 years now. He is very proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. Prior to joining the team, he was the Layout Designer for Penguin Publishing House and the Graphic Designer for Phil Inter-Ads. Today, he leads a team of very talented designers who knows how to adapt to every client’s design needs with precision and quality.
Hans recently joined Open Look early of 2017. He had 13 years of experience in BPO industry. He started as an agent and has been exposed to various programs from Data Entry, Customer Service, Technical Support, Sales, Quality and Training. He had a total of 6 years experiences in Quality and 2 years as Training/Quality Manager. Through the years he was exposed to doing systems and processes improvement using collective data, feedback and observation for both Quality and Training. With both skill and experience, Hans will definitely bring Open Look to the next level.
