Meet the Team
Brad has been in publishing and off-shore outsourcing for 10 years. He specializes in evaluating processes for Open Look customers and re-creating those processes and functions into a cost-saving or revenue-generating solution, both inside and out of publishing or media. With many creative content ideas, Brad has helped Open Look launch a variety of different brands for custom publishing clients ranging from local content all the way to nationally distributed financial titles. Before Open Look, Brad was a Director in a Niche Media company overseeing sales, customer service, and offshore staff for over 30 niche brands. He also spent many years in the automotive industry in progressive sales, marketing, and brand roles with a Big 3 auto manufacturer.
Mike Obert has been in publishing for over 25 years and specializes in monetizing magazines through ad sales and distribution. With creative revenue generating ideas, Mike has launched over 50 magazines in his career. In addition, he manages several custom publishing projects for clients that want to monetize content in their industries. These projects include precious metals, fantasy sports, high school lacrosse, and hyperlocal content. Mike and partners started Open Look in 2012 to help niche publishers leverage offshore services to help with productivity and reduce cost. These services include sales, content, design and distribution. Mike, was the Senior VP of Sales for a large Niche Media company prior to starting Open Look and was responsible for all ad sales, customer service and niche distribution.
Kevin is an accomplished sales professional with an outstanding record of success in the niche publishing sector. He is originally from Southern California and began his career in advertising sales for a variety of special-interest automotive publications. In 2010, he moved to the Philippines tasked to develop and manage the offshore advertising sales team for a Niche Media company, in 2 years the team of six reps generated and managed over $1.3 million in advertising revenue.
Having lived in the Philippines since 2010, Kevin has experience in developing and building teams in every facet of the publishing process.
Angela is the HR Manager of Open Look. She worked in various HR roles for 16 years, and been with Open Look for 4 years, overseeing all functions within the HR Department from Sourcing to Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations. All Open Look employees are 100% full-time employees sourced specifically based on business/client needs and processed through her department. She currently holds certifications from the International Federation of Professional Manager, Philippines and the Australian Human Resource Institute in Australia.
Rodel Marvin is the IT Manager of Open Look since 2012. He has been in the Information Technology industry for over 10 years with deep experience and knowledge on Desktop Support, Dialer, Asterisk, Network Security, Firewalls and Website Development such as Wordpress, Joomla, and CSS. Prior to joining the company, he was the System Administrator for PT&T. He has covered 10 out of 16 programming languages with Microsoft and Cisco Certification that makes Open Look the preferred provider. To continually improve his skills, he attended all IT related workshops and working on finishing his CEH Certification for Network Security.
Arkin has been with Open Look for over 2 years now managing all Telemarketing, Copy Editing and Non Graphic Design Projects. He has a decent experience with Inbound and Outbound Sales, Customer Service, Email Support, Chat Support, Back Office and Copy Editing. He worked for Vonage (A VOIP Company in the US), ATCO Gas (For Edmonton, ALBERTA ,CA) and GLobal Shop Direct (Australian DRTV).
She has been with the company for 4 years now. She was previously a Telemarketer and later became a Team Leader for the Copy Editing team, handling 5-10 copy editors. Queenie is currently the Project Coordination and Data Management Manager, working closely with the Data Entry team and Graphics and Design team. She also leads a team of 3 Project Coordinators, 5 Data Research Specialists, a Web Content Specialist and an Internet Marketing Strategist.
Noel is the Design Manager of the Graphics Department. He has been in the Design field for 12 years and working with Open Look for 3 years now. He is very proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. Prior to joining the team, he was the Layout Designer for Penguin Publishing House and the Graphic Designer for Phil Inter-Ads. Today, he leads a team of very talented designers who knows how to adapt to every client’s design needs with precision and quality.
Hans recently joined Open Look early of 2017. He had 13 years of experience in BPO industry. He started as an agent and has been exposed to various programs from Data Entry, Customer Service, Technical Support, Sales, Quality and Training. He had a total of 6 years experiences in Quality and 2 years as Training/Quality Manager. Through the years he was exposed to doing systems and processes improvement using collective data, feedback and observation for both Quality and Training. With both skill and experience, Hans will definitely bring Open Look to the next level.
